Intrada records has released three volumes of CD's featuring scores from many of the episodes from the series -- works of John Williams, Bruce Broughton, Michael Kamen, Alan Silvestri, ect-ect-ect.

Vol. 3 arrived in the mail the other day; I've already purchased (and enjoyed) the first two volumes. This volume is the best, mostly due to the fact it contains the score Williams wrote for the Spielberg directed episode"The Misson"... which is 25min worth of perhaps some of the best music ever written for television.

The series on the other hand, well... pretty hit-and-miss, IMO.

I remember watching a few episodes as a kid, like Spielberg's "Ghost Train" and Zemeckis' "Go to the Head of the Class" (on of my fav's). But re-watching them from time to time on the Sci-Fi channel has reminded me how many stinker episodes there were. I did like the quirky and weird episode entitled "Thanksgiving", which is in the realm of my writing style.

Anyway, yeah, enough recollecting, back to the music...
